“The plane is a Wittman Tailwind W10 with a 150 HP Lycoming engine. Cruises at about 150 kts. It was finished in April of 2016 with Oratex fabric from the boot cowl rearward including all tail feathers. It currently has approximately 920 hours on the airplane with Orate installed. In the almost 8 years the fabric has stayed taut and has held up very well. I had never covered a full-size airplane before, and I did this in my garage and the basement of my house. With careful planning and by following the instructions, I did not have any problems.
If I build another airplane again, I would definitely use Oratex."
